I feel like saying something depressing, but the artwork kind of does that by itself, so I won’t.
This is another piece from my drawing class; in this assignment, we were supposed to draw our greatest fear on scratchboard. For those who don’t know, scratchboard is paper covered in blank ink (at least I’m pretty sure that’s what it is) that must be scraped off to reveal the white stuff underneath. That means any mistakes you make are permanent, so yeah, this was one of the most interesting projects.
I’m afraid of heights–but being a perfectionist, I’m terrified of loneliness, rejection, and failure (ain’t we all?). So in this case, I think a little metaphor goes a long way. Don’t you?
Amazing! This blog looks just like my old one! It’s on a completely different topic but it has pretty much the same layout
and design. Wonderful choice of colors!
