Hey everyone. I’ve graduated from high school, so I finally have enough time to post a brand new time-lapse video!
The art is nothing special–just a new version of the Dustlander Productions logo–but the music this time is really something! It’s “Adept”, a song hot off Caleb’s new EP, “Fives“, which is full of really unique, mellow electronic music. Give it a listen!
What’s up, everyone. I hope you’re all primed and ready for another character sketch, because you’re getting one. New comics are coming, albeit very slowly. Hold me accountable for those, please.
Anyway, this little leprechaun girl isn’t from a series (as if my multitude of series are official or anything). Instead, she’s actually a Mutants & Masterminds (basically superhero D&D) character that I created–I played her in a game with my relatives just this last week. She’s kind of silly for a superhero, but I like her rustic, perky design. I think I wrote a backstory for her, but I lost it somewhere.
That’s about it, so go! Have a good day!
You never thought I’d get this done, did you? Well, as a young and foolish Jedi once put it: “You underestimate my power.”
You’ll notice a few things with this new addition to my YouTube channel–firstly, the song. This isn’t just any tune, but specifically “Ethic”, which was recently posted to Cal’s SoundCloud. (If you haven’t been there, I advise you to go there immediately.) It also might interest you that “Ethic” is an early version of a theme song (or motif) for our very own series, Ironwood! Hopefully the song will give you a better idea of what that’s all about…
The video’s quality might also catch your eye–it’s much better-looking than the last! Indeed, I’ve ditched Windows Movie Maker in favor of Adobe Premiere Pro. It took a slight learning curve, but I’m very happy with the result. (Also, the clock in the bottom right-hand corner that I mentioned in the last video’s description is now visible!)
January’s comic is nearly ready–I’ll get it up in the next few days. In the meantime, enjoy the video!
